Large Impeller Puller Heavy-Duty Marine Tool | ImpelPro®
Big impellers in tight spaces need a puller with enough reach to seat properly and enough grip to pull clean. The ImpelPro Large is a compact, bearing-driven impeller removal tool built for bigger flexible-vane impellers on inboard marine engines. Its bearing-controlled extraction and piercing teeth lock onto the impeller securely and wind it out in a controlled motion, protecting the pump housing and shaft. Sized for heavy-duty service, it fits impellers from 2-9/16" to 4-5/8", covering diesel inboards, twin engine setups, sportfishers, and workboats with limited access. Built from aluminum alloy and 316L stainless steel, light enough for confident one-handed use. For inboard engines only. Review the spec chart and measure your available space before ordering.

More about ImpelPro Impeller Pullers
The ImpelPro Large was built for the jobs where reach and grip matter most. Bigger impellers, deeper pump housings, tight access. That's the work this tool was sized for.
If you run twin diesels, Cat C18s, or any high-output inboard engine or generator, impeller day doesn't have to mean calling a mechanic. Longer offset arms and larger rods give you the reach that bigger pumps require. Wind the threaded rod down against the shaft and the bearing takes over, smooth and controlled, without damaging what's around it. The piercing teeth lock in before you start and stay seated through the full extraction.
Sportfishing captains, twin engine boat owners, commercial operators, and marine mechanics running heavy iron all reach for the Large when the job calls for it. Before boating season hits and the calendar fills up, this is the tool that gets impeller day done on your schedule.
Built by a professional marine mechanic with 15 years working on tugboats and yachts.
Key Features

DIY & professional use – saves time and reduces risk of damage
How ImpelPro Is Different
While ImpelPro may look similar at first glance, it works differently. ImpelPro's bearing-driven design winds the impeller out in a controlled motion, reducing effort and protecting surrounding components. Combined with piercing teeth that lock in securely, the more you wind down the threaded rod against the shaft, the bearing does the heavy lifting so you don't have to.
