Yes. That's the specific problem it was built to solve. The bearing-driven mechanism pulls the impeller straight out without requiring leverage or clearance for prying. Most inboard engine bays have enough room to use ImpelPro even when other tools won't fit.
The Standard fits impeller sizes 1-9/16" to 2-9/16" and covers most inboard engines and raw water pumps. The Large fits 2-9/16" to 4-5/8" and adds larger generators, including John Deere powered units. Check your pump specs or measure your impeller diameter to confirm.
ImpelPro works on all flexible vane impeller pumps — keyed, threaded, and splined shafts. Compatible brands include Jabsco, JMP, Sherwood, Johnson, Oberdorfer, Volvo Penta, MerCruiser, Westerbeke, Yanmar, Northern Lights, Cummins/Onan, and more.
